Now, there are some minor versions of e-Sword I didn't bother downloading, due to the fact what changes that were made at that time by Rick Meyers were merely cosmetic. Earlier in life I wanted a software program to make my studying easier, but the price hindered me from getting it. Dont worry, e-Sword will still work with the older RTF-based modules as well. If you guys are interested in an older versions of e-Sword, I have a collection of them ranging from version 8.06 through to 12.20. This build includes the latest versions of third-party components used. So there actually was no reason for me to try to install the older versions. The newest version of E-Sword 12.2.0 does indeed install just fine on an ancient XP Home computer that has not been updated since, I dunno, 2012 or 2013? The creators of this amazing Bible software should be able to have a say in how files are handled. ![]() I edited most of the info out of my previous post because I realized my approach was a bit rebellious. ![]() I was just able to get e-sword versions 11, as I am trying to fix an old XP machine that stays mostly offline. ![]()
